History, Beach, and Nature in One Destination

Santa Marta, founded in 1525, is the oldest city in Colombia and a destination full of contrasts. Its bay has witnessed colonial history, while its beaches offer relaxation and fun by the Caribbean Sea.

Just nearby, the Tayrona National Natural Park dazzles with pristine beaches surrounded by lush jungle perfect for nature lovers and ecotourism enthusiasts. From here, travelers can also begin treks to the Lost City, one of the most important archaeological treasures in the Americas.

Santa Marta’s cultural diversity is reflected in the presence of indigenous communities such as the Koguis and Arhuacos, who keep their ancestral traditions alive in the Sierra Nevada. Between beaches, history, and ancient culture, this destination becomes an unforgettable experience.
